Two forms of identification are required to establish membership. What this means to you when you open an account is simply -- we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and the information that will allow us to identify you. All individuals who have access to any account will be required to present two forms of U.S. Government issued identification. At least one of the identification documents must be a government issued photo ID. All identification must be current and valid, original documents with the correct address. The name on all identification documentation presented must also match. If the address is not correct a third form of verifiable identification, such as a utility bill or insurance card will be required. Here's a simple list of acceptable identification:
- Primary (Photo ID) includes state issued driver's license or identification card with or without restrictions, passport, military ID, Matricula consular card, Texas concealed handgun license, and/or resident card.
- Secondary ID can be SSN or EIN with no restrictions, SSN with restrictions, ITIN starting with a "9", or a voter registration card with or without a photo.
You may present two ID cards from the primary list or one from the primary and one from the secondary. A state issued driver's license and state issued ID card only counts as one ID. Always feel free to check with a Member Service Representative regarding individual underage, minor account requirements.
